But in addition to losing your games, they also blacklist your IP and name (which they get from your IP) from using/purchasing other Nintendo products.

The worst part is that even if someone else tries to buy them for you, they can be arrested due to copyright laws. This was confirmed a few hours ago.

It's pretty messed up.

I work for an ISP and I can confirm that this happens all the time in cases of copyright infringement. There have been rumor's about a big game company doing this for months now. It's probably related.
