I adored my Hilda back in the B/W days, and now it's time to transfer her to X/Y, let her retire and have Hilda II take her place on my team.

Now that Fairy is a thing, how should Hilda II adapt?

Pair Hydregion with a Fairy and include a Steel type too.

Hydregion despite the fairy weakness has good synergy with Fairies cause they cover all of his weaknesses (Fighting/Dragon/Dark)

OP here.

Hilda's moves were: Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Flamethrower and Surf.

Nothing fancy, and her nature was the one that fucks Attack and improves Speed. Never checked IVs or EVs.

Should her daughter have the same moves? Or should I introduce Flash Cannon?

Hydreigon became a glass cannon. Life Orb or Expert Belt and will still OHKO-2OHKO most pokemon no matter how bulky can be, but the x4 fairy weakness and Fighting pokemon being very common makes it hard to come out sometimes and won't last much on the field.

Mine has Flash Cannon as most fairies won't expect it along the usual STABs+coverage attack.

He has surf and flamethrower for that.

Flashcannon is honestly pointless on it and you're just better off using U-Turn and switching to a Steel type like Scizor.
