If they actually IV breed and EV trained accordingly.

However, most passerbies has a low to zero egg hatch ratio and still play the Smogon team expecting free wins. I fought several Aegislash and Greninja and they fainted without becoming big threats.

Am I the only one that gets more nervous at teams with a good ratio of (decent) UU mons in a team? (not counting obviously in game teams with 2 starters.)

I feel like whenever I play Smogon: The Team it's by someone really inexperienced and I can beat them super easy. But if someone throws a Clefable and Sigilyph in their team I start getting nervous.

Good Pokemon are one thing, but following Smogon's recommendations to the letter is kind of obnoxious and doesn't take a lot of thought- at least for your average passerby.

Is not that people should play Beedrills and Sunfloras because MUH KARENS. But that people should build their own team with or without Smogon tips or tiers, instead of copycat the popular team and make every battle about who pulls brave bird and stealth rock first.

Obviusly if you fight a Weakness Policy Lapras you won't know how to deal with it, but if you face the 49th Greninja of the week you'll already know what to do with your team.

Clefable is going to be one of those UU mons that can function really well in OU. Like those Pokemon that didn't get any worse but dropped to UU and weren't overpowered enough to go to BL.

It's really not hard to beat any typical smogonmon. I haven't fought enough Clefables to really have any trouble with them. It is kind of funny to chip PUP on one and then proceed to wreck the entire team because they decided to try and use it for a stall/wall.
