Guys, we in AUS are gonna get the Pokebank tomorrow.
You should change your region on your 3DS and go to the eshop to download the game, it's free so you will not have problems with the credit card/ nintendo money thing.

Even if it works (and say it's there TODAY AND AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD) you must have NNID to download
If you already got it,you can't change region
If you want to download it and create it,you are stuck in the AU eshop forever
So yes,solution much?

nah, eshop is working normally again. I think nintendo is still gonna release it on time tomorrow. They probably just needed to do maintenance today and announced the delay to ward people off the eshop while they do that.

1) you need a NNID to use the eShop now
2) If you make a NNID you gotta lock it to some region
3) once its locked you can't change back

So people that'll change to AUS will be stuck with AUS eShop forever.

According to various sources,free games (including demo) and apps require NNID
Other games don't
Since this is free it should require NNID (it has been confirmed by Serebii that it does)

Nah, I'm getting the error code that the server is down and really nothing else.

Still for anyone, you shouldn't take the risk because I didn't connect my NNID to my eshop yet on the 3DS.

However, I can connect to the miiverse after changing my region and back, but then again, I didn't connect my NNID to my 3ds e-shop yet due to the maintenance.
