>>16914028Jesus christ, no. Crocune stopped being good when the Physical/Special split happened, and Gardevoir lacks the physical bulk to ever pull that off.
The whole idea was that CALM MIND SUICUNE HAS NO WEAK or someshit, since both Grass and Electric were Special types and boosting Special Defense minimized the damage you'd end up taking.
Ghost, Steel, and Poison are all physically oriented types, though any unresisted move from the tangible side of the spectrum is going to kill you.
Things like Assault Vest Cobalion (or any chucklehead with a Durant) are going to revenge you at worst, and AV Escavalier will obliterate you while celebrating its escape from the land of Flareon-tier movepools.
>>a pokemon has counters, that makes it badThose are just some examples, other physical sweepers like Victini and Mega Medicham would tear through your set (which needs to invest heavily in bulk to even pretend to work) without a second thought.
>Screens, burnsAren't being used by Gardevoir itself, and could be used to support a better 'mon. Like an actual Crocune, for one.
>baton passTurns shit into gold. Everything can be a monster if it's been passed the right boosts. Is a baton pass target really worth making it your Mega?
Terribleness of that Crocune wannabe moveset aside, I honestly can't see anything that Mega Gardevoir can do to make it worth your Mega slot in standard (singles) play, especially with that awful, awful Psychic subtyping.
Notice how I didn't mention Scizor or Aegislash or M-Luke. Why do you think that is?
