First of all, I spend time with my wife a lot. When we aren't working (we both work at the same school, I'm a teacher though), we spend a lot of time together, especially since she's pregnant. I give her the attention she needs.
When I have a day off and my wife and I aren't spending time together (like when she is visiting my mother-in-law's house or if she is away with friends) I call one of my best friends or invite my brother over for dinner, go to a movie theater with them etc.
And if they're not availble or I want to spend some time for myself, I play Pokémon.
My wife doesn't mind at all. In fact, we actually met on a certain event in The Netherlands called "Pokémon Day".
There is nothing wrong with a father who has an interest in a certain something. My dad loves Star Wars and Star Trek, my uncle is a big fan of Dr. Who.
