Does anyone feel bad about importing their pokemon from later gens? I feel like it's like taking a dog away from its owner.

perhaps I'm just a sentimental autist though.

if you're going that far, I'm pretty sure they are more happy following you from region to region, rather than being left behind. it may be different bodies, but in the end they bonded with you, not the trainer bodies.

I will say the games feel "empty" without them, though. The long run benefit of saving them from a dead cart is worth it, though.

I have a back up device for saves (thanks Hong Kong) and it pretty much rips the save out of my cart and onto my computer. So yeah, you get the picture. Cloning time.
