>>16952301K, you are exaggerating. Overall the quality of production was markedly improved from almost everything we had seen before.
I'm talking about in comparison to previous installments of the pokemon anime, not in comparison to other modern animes.
In comparison to other animes, you are of course right. That's why I said it wasn't GOOD.
However, you can't deny that Origins was an improvement compared to past installments of the same franchise.
The quality of animation was much better, voice work was much better, original soundtrack is actually great,
and the battles were pretty fluid and looked action-packed instead of robotic shit we had seen before.
And lastly, you really want the anime to be a mathematical exact-ratio equivalent of the events that happened in game?
That doesn't even make sense. They took time for the Cubone arc because they thought it would be emotional and
show RED learning about the true meaning of Pokemon and all that shit. Whether or not you think they accomplished that doesn't matter;
it's still ridiculous to say that they should have had no creative license whatsoever and everything in Origins has to be a 1:1 relaying of in-game events.
That's stupid and ruins any chance to have dramatic arcs because the timing would never be right.
