"backup" as in copying the content of the SD to my pc an zipping it. Already did that to several SDs (from the stock 2Gb to a 8gb and then to a 16GB and then to a 16GB class 10 and then to a 32GB class 10) but i just formatted it, too used to format my camera SD card that way
