But inverse battles aren't hard, they're way more imbalanced than normal battles. Heck every normal type has no weaknesses, a resistance and return hits some things SE while being resisted by nothing, only missing ghosts.

It is, 100%. NVE becomes SE, neutral is still neutral, no effect becomes SE. Normal types and shit like Aurorus are fucking amazing in inverse

I mean like, Steel -> Water being NVE would make Water -> Steel NVE in an inverse battle.
Electric -> Ground having no effect would make Ground -> Electric have no effect in an inverse battle.
I only did the battle once, so that's just how I assumed it worked.

Nothing has 0 effect in inverse battles, I just checked. No effect/resist simply becomes super effective, while super effective is just resist.
