I'm trying to pass down Night Slash through to a 5-6 IV Skorupi but every time I put a Skorupi in the daycare it levels up and Night Slash gets replaced. Wtf am I supposed to?

If the move is known by at least one parent and can be passed down it makes exactly zero shits how many levels it gains or new moves it learns while in there as long as you dont take the mon that knew the move out of the day care. You are just retarded it seems.
