The overload is because you need a massive update if you want to play your wiiU this christmas and WiiU automatically downloads Wii karioke, the new wii sports and wii fitness to your wii in case you want to subscribe to them. That is the reason for the server overload, Bank has only been released in Japan and they have their own servers over there rather than having to rely on the American ones, so is nothing to do with the problem.
