Event pokemon 2014

IMO, events are the greatest tool gamefreak has in extending the life of pokemon games between the annual releases. What event pokemon do you think we'll see/want to see in 2014? I want a mew or jirachi but I'd settle for a manaphy

I just hope the next ones are wifi events. Living in a small town in rural Australia 2 hours from the nearest city that actually does events is fucking shit.

They have them periodically. You reciev them usually like with torchic; by using mystery gift, though sometimes the event organisers are dicks and make you go to a store Gamestop/GAME to get them

some way to get all the older gen event pokes would be nice. Mew, deoxys, celebii, I feel like those never even existed since back in the old days of the game boy those events didn't even happen in my country.

We JUST had Deoxys for BW2, so I don't think we'll see that one for a while. My bet is Mew and perhaps Manaphy, because they will probably be the rarest event Pokémon with Celebi available through Pokémon Bank.

I think Manaphy isn't coming back soon, except as a multigame thing like it oiginaly was.

I'd like it if they'd just cycle through them all in a pattern: current gen event, old event, repeat. So it'd go Diancie, Mew, Volcanion, Celebi, Hoopa, Jirachi, Diancie, Deoxys, etc. New one every month.

diancie, hoopa and volcanion won't be around until z/x2y2 comes out

i think they should do a manaphy event since acquiring a legit one is almost impossible unless you played that shitty pokemon ranger game

Also given GF's track record with odd-sprite events (spiky pichu anyone) I wouldn't expect that Floette to transfer to gen7.

Considering there is an ingame event in every single game after Platinum, they really should make Shaymin a lot more accessible. I lost mine because of a cartridge corruption in HH.
