/vp/, is there a whole genre of games in japan that are basically pokemon clones (player character collects dozens of useless "weapon characters", uses/grinds a small team of them) and don't get a western release? It's just that Pokemon and Ni No Kuni share so many conventions that it would be weird if they weren't playing along to an unseen rulebook.
