Offensive set-up is high-risk, high reward. You sacrifice momentum in order to ensure you can break through the opponent, if they let you set up, it's due to their lack of experience or you outplaying them. Spamming defense boosts + recover doesn't require that.
The game would be a fucking awful stallfest if there wasn't risk to defense play at all. That's simple balance.
You people should feel ashamed for yourself for still complaining about crits, even after they were nerfed.
