With some mediocre IVs and a neutral nature, I don't think it'd survive in competitive battle. It was a nice surprise, but I really would have rather one of my competitive mons be shiny.

chances are it would have 1 or 2 IVs be imperfect, and using an imperfect poke is just dumb.
