Wait, is Phantom Force bad? I get that you don't want to use it if your opponent can switch a normal type in, but it seemed really good for breaking through protect and things like minimize in rated battle spot.

How else are you going to use it?

Unless the enemy is stupid slow, you are going to attack second with standard priority and then get your head beaten in.

You can use shadow sneak and not revert, but then you still have to worry about the hit back unless they're so weak you can 1-hit kill.

It's a good move, it requires more work to use, though. Even when the enemy has a noral type you can use it to bait the normal to Will-o-Wisp or Taunt it.

Mixed Aegi with Autotomize and Weakness Policy, Shadow Ball, Sacred Sword/Shadow Claw and Hidden Power Ice. Fuck King's Shield it's beyond useless as everyone expects it, switch out if you can't deal with something.

I like to use a Hydreigon-Aegislash offensive core on my team, so Weakness Policy is not a option since I have to switch between them constantly. Still, I use the King's Shield build and I'm not as predicted as I thought would be.
I'm on 1900+ btw.
