I always loved Butterfree back in Fire Red/Leaf Green because compoundeyes meant it was almost guaranteed sleep. You could seriously wreck half of Kanto with a Butterfree. Then Quiver Dance came along in Gen V, and that was pretty boss.
Now we have a whole new butterfly that is even more custom built to wreak havoc with that set, plus hurricane? Holy crap, I love Vivillon.
But my favorite butterfly to take into WiFi battles is still Butterfree. I like to use Tinted Lens instead of compound eyes. It means Sleep powder isn't a sure thing, but once I'm set up, almost nothing can stop it. A lot of ragequits happen when people are about to watch their team of OU trash fall to a Butterfree.
