So hai!

You've probably heard that what we got as Gen I games (R/B) were updated games of what the Japanese were playing before us. So, the Japanese released Red and Green version. After that they updated the game and prepared for international release which resulted in Japanese Blue version and worldwide Red and Blue version.

So I've ordered a Japanese cartridge Green version. Which is kinda cool for my collection but lame as I also need a Japanese Game Boy (because cartridges and GameBoys were region based).

As I want to play the beta game and trying some hacks I figured that I could find a ROM to play it on my NDS. But as it is I can't find it :(

Does anybody know if it is true that I won't be able to play on my EU GB and/or does anybody know where to find beta ROMs.

tldr; wondering if japaneese version is playable on EU GB; can't find Green rom; general gen I beta disccusion if anybody is interested
