Hey /vp/ my best friend just bought a new 3ds and gave me his old one. I decided to buy pokemon Y. This will be the first pokemon game I have played since soul silver. I have a bad problem of only using and leveling one pokemon and just having him 20 levels above anything we would come across and will be trying to avoid that.

Don't worry about overleveing any single Pokemon. The EXP share gives all pokemon EXP, regardless of whether they battled or not.
