This is possibly a stupid question and has probably already been answered but what the heck.

When this fucker here finally comes out, is it possible to upload my Pokemon from X to the cloud storage, restart my Pokemon X game and then bring the Pokemon back to my game from the Bank?
Just wondering this as I really want to replay X, but I have worked hard breeding competitive pokemon and shit so I don't want to lose them.

Not a stupid question. I'm pretty sure you can do that. What you can't do is transfer your Bank account to a new 3DS if your current one breaks (shitty, I know)

Since Bank is tied to your Nintendo ID and not your game, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to restart your X cart and still be able to bring your Pokemon back from Bank.

I think you are supposed to be able to access the bank from the point where you get the pokedex, so I am also hoping to be able to restart one of my games and transfer over a whole new team to go from the start.

I think as long as you're able to do a System Transfer to a new 3DS, you'll still be able to access Bank. If the broken 3DS is unable to do a System Transfer, you may be SOL.

Your Nintendo Network ID can only register 1 of each device (3DS, Wii U, not sure if 2DS can be alongside 3DS). If your 3DS breaks, you can't register that Network ID on a new 3DS, and seeing as Bank is tied to your Network ID, you can't use Bank on your new 3DS, meaning your bank mons are stuck in limbo.

Actually when you use Pokemon bank, you register your DS and have to have a login and password.
I THINK if you use the same login and password when you use a new DS, it'll access the main account.
I'm not certain, though, since this is all theory based around me using the Japanese version which had me create a login and password.
Once it hits the American systems, I'll be able to download bank to my American DS and confirm one way or the other.

For the Shiny Charm, do you have to CATCH every single pokemon? Or is it like the Oval Stone, where it just has to be registered into the dex?

If its the latter, then I'm only 200 away, including the event only mons that I need PokeBank for.

Any other company that made its money through technological innovation would have come up with, oh I don't know, an account system on the internet that lets people sort it out themselves, but Nintendo, as demonstrated numerous times, just cannot into internet. Nintendo will give you back what they have from you in their server. Just like your bank. Bank will not give y ou back stolen money you took at the machine. They just relink your data to the new ID.

If you didn't register your system to Club Nintendo (you can pull up the serial there), keep the receipt you got when you bought the system (serial there as well), or kept a little black book with all of your electronics serial numbers then that's on you for being a disorganized idiot.
