Is there any way to make Sceptile not complete ass? He's so awesome but so terrible. The best I could come up with was:

You make it good by changing it so there aren't 7 types that resist its STAB. Either by giving it a secondary type or just fixing the type chart.

Kind of a play on the old set that used a Flying Gem and Acrobatics. Sadly, there's no Flying Gem yet, so it's sort of forced to use Return instead. I haven't tried using it online yet, but the old set with Fly Gem/Acrobatics was pretty decent.

I have return on there to take advantage of the Normal Gem's power. Once the Normal Gem is used up, Unburden activates and gives him a speed boost. Earthquake's better for coverage, but Return/Normal Gem take advantage of its ability.

Pretty sure it's not NU because of Talonflame. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure it was RU. Sceptile's not a bad Pokemon. I used the physical Flying Gem/Acrobatics set back in B2/W2 and it's very effective.

Talonflame shits on a lot of Pokemon but that doesn't make them bad, it just makes Talonflame really good.
