Breeding question

Trying to breed a perfect IV mawile. I have a female with perfect Attk, Speed, and SpD and a male with perfect Def. The female is holding a destiny knot, which I thought passes down 5 of her IVs, but the babies keep only having perfect Speed... What am I doing wrong?

Destiny Knot yanks 5 random IVs from BOTH parents. Git a better malewile, dude.

Destiny Knot passes down 5 IVs from either parent, not just the one holding it. So you might just be get the shit IVs from the father.

Try getting an other father with more perfect IVs. Don't forget that there are plenty of other pokemons you can breed the female Mawile with so you might have another male mon with good IVs in your bank.
