It was an average spinner at best for sun teams. It remained a piece of shit, though.

Clefable has a very good typing and movepool and its stats are surprisingly decent. It also has two great abilities in Magic Guard and, most notably, Unaware.

Except Smogon's UU won't look anything close to that because they're not setting up the lower tiers until May or some shit. The meta's still young so people are testing out new toys. No way is shit like Kyurem-B and Jirachi remaining UU.

I wouldn't be so sure, kyurem and jirachi aren't being used because their typing slots are being used by other stuff. kyurem isn't so special and jirachi also lost its crucial ghost and dark resists

Krookodile is good in OU now. Same for Bisharp, Mandibuzz and Trevenant. Talonflame is a top tier threat, you just don't play against good opponents. Skarmory is still a hard stop to many threats and learns Defog, I'm not sure why you're surprised it's OU by Pokemon Online stats.

Only Klefki, Togekiss, and Azumarill are going to be relevant. All the others are only common because they're new and will drop to the lower tiers once the metagame stabilizes. Fairy isn't a significant offensive type.

I use reuniclus. It hits surprisingly hard an is only countered by scizor. Aromatisse does wonders with wish and an expert belt. A massive disappointment was avalugg, which is basically built to move last. I haven't tried out dragalge or m-ampharos, but m-banette ain't that good. As for old pokemon, camerupt is stellar as long as you can switch in safely, but it really can't take a hit.

I wouldn't trust these at all since most PO players are scrubs. In 5th gen OU they had Keldeo consistently in the 40s and near UU range while it was almost always in the top 15 on Smogon.

Honestly if you wanna play competitive Pokemon and want to do singles, then Smogon/PO rules are the way to go. The only other options are Nintendo's rules, or no rules at all. Nintendo's rules are utter shit since they have such arbitrary bans and no rules at all pretty much means that every single battle will be a full team of OP as fuck legendaries.

Oh god no joke. I've started to realize that the main reason why I like the franchise is due to being with it since I was a little child. Thinking about it there's so many shitty aspects about this series.

I'm sorry if you're a fan or whatever, but that's how it is. But this is an opinion on the internet so I guess it's natural you'd discount it just because it doesn't like up with yours.

I watched Smogon up until around mid gen 5. I learned EVs and IVs properly from there. It helped me get acquainted with sets and team building. After you reach that point, you begin to see all of the site's weak points. They're tiering system is also inflexible and out-dated and needs some revamping. I don't hate Smogon. It's just grating to see people take their word as divine law and something going down a tier as the end of the world.

I think he's referring to the changed breeding mechanics in gen 6. They do make getting good IVs easier.

Anyway, the problem with IVs is that they render 99% of the mons you get absolutely useless which flies against the moral of the frnachise, and getting good IVs is just a matter of tapping left and right on the D-pad for about an hour until the virtual dice rolls in your favor. It's absolutely not skill-based at all and is just utter luck-based tedium. Very few people enjoy breeding, most people just do it as a means to an end and have moral qualms about RNGing/genning. And before people start shitposting with "lmoa u just wanna be given mons for free!!!!" no, I don't. I bred back in Gen 3 when it was an absolutely excruciating process. I see nothing wrong with having to put time into a game. I DO see a problem with the game rewarding you for just jamming a dime under your circle pad. If IVs could be increased through super training's minigames then everything would be good, but evidentially GF thought it was more important to make EV training even easier, as if it weren't already. Just another sign of their incompetence, I suppose.

Same problems as they are now although a LOT more manageable thanks to destiny knot and Friend safaris. It's only now I've seen people actually want to see them being removed, probably because of no pokegen/sav like people were used to, and you shouldn't need to use those things to play the game in the first place.

"Individual value" is just a really popular fanterm. It's never been used in official materials so GF has no obligation to abide by it. Pokemon are already individualized through natures and gender, and even if IVs could be increased they could still be individualized due to the fact that a Pokemon with lower IVs will take more time to train up.

And you can't heal yourself within seconds either, but that doesn't stop GF from implementing healing centers. The franchise has always ignored real-world logic for the sake of more convenient gameplay.

The chances of getting a pokemon with good IVs in the wild is next to none,even with the friend safaris guaranteed 2 31s. The whole point of the game originally was to catch and train monsters and battle them with your friends. You don't have to remove them so much as make everything 31/31/31/31/31/31 or 0 and keep breeding to be just for eggmoves

Doesn't matter. GF has never given an official term for IVs. There's nothing stopping them from giving an official term which would change their meaning. And it wouldn't contradict those NPCs because IVs are not the only way to make a Pokemon of the same species different.

I think I know the line you're talking about. Even back in Gen 1 Pokemon could be individualized through what moves you taught it, stat EXP, and levels. Also it's not like plenty of Gen 1 shit hasn't been outright retconned anyway. Magnemite is still pure Electric, right?

Same with Stat XP, if both Pokemon had 0 in Stat XP they could still be different due to IVs.

Get over it, IVs have been the same since Gen I, basically, just a change in how large the IV range goes, from 15 in Gen I/II to 31 in Gen III and beyond.

If Game Freak wanted to change them to allow them to be changed in game they would have by now.

Slyveon is the only one that has any shot at being a decent OU Pokemon. Mawile may make it, but I doubt it. Gardevoir is going to be a really solid UU Pokemon and Florges is shit.

This gen might have an extensive BL list like that of Gen 3. That being said, it's pretty stupid for Pokemon Online to have created a UU tier this early, they're tiering based on usage stats from November to December, not even two months after X and Y came out, and before they knew any new movepool additions to Pokebank Pokemon. Also, Manaphy, Tornadus, and Keldeo should definitely be OU, but people haven't given as much attention to old legendaries yet.
