What is the best move set for Mega Gardevoir? Just got a shiny one. Never used one yet.

My set so far is:
>Calm Mind
>Thunderbolt
>Psychic
>Echoed Voice
Hyper Voice isn't available atm, so your best bet is abusing Echoed Voice until Z/XY2 come out, it gets a cool 260 power off after 5 turns. Psychic and Thunderbolt is there for STAB and fuck you Smogonbird, respectively, while Calm Mind is there to buff them. Might not be the best set, but I'm new to MegaWaifu too.
Sorry about the Male, half my eggs yielded Males before I finally found a non-trap.

Moveset for my first Naughty Gardevior is:
Energy Ball (gonna change that out for Shadow Ball most likely)
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Dazzling Glare (soon to be replaced with Moonblast)
Works pretty well for me so far, even though I'm still trying to breed for even better Gardevoirs.

If you want best over all coverage psyshock, moonblast, shadow ball, calm mind is the way to go. Shadow ball can be swapped out for another coverage move to eliminate specific threats at the expense of perfect nuetral coverage.

Psyshock (Against special bulks)
Moonblast (STAB etc)
Thunderbolt (Coverage)
Destiny Bond (Everybody expects calm mind and Gardevoir is kinda fragile even as mega. Mega already does solid damage)

Although it also depends of your team

-Ice Shard

-Blizzard

-Grass Knot/Energy Ball

-Focus Blast/Shadow Ball

Depends on what you are having problems with.

Why is everyone giving Gardevoirs special attacks?
They have fucking hands too you know, and mega gardevoir has 295 attack with 340 HP. Why not make a tank one with cut, recycle, thunder punch, and mean look?

But really, one of the more interesting sets I've seen is a BP Receiver with Stored Power. One passed QD turns it into an 80 BP STAB move off a +1 SpA, and one Calm Mind behind a passed Sub makes it a 120 BP STAB off a +2 SpA. Moonblast and Shadow Ball/Thunderbolt/whatever you want for coverage to round it off. Not to mention now it's running around on 100 Base Speed with a +1 added to it.
