>>17059651>>17059430Not that guy, but the only idiot here is YOU. You switch in talonflame whenever they go into lucario, they will never be able to keep lucario in.
T1 - Nasty plot while T-Flame switches in
T2 - Only deals 50% with Vacuum Wave, while talon OHKOs with Flare Blitz.
T1 - Swords dance while T-Flame switches in
T2 - Deals 98% health while getting OHKO'd by flare blitz
If they try starting out with attacking, talonflame will live all of it and still be able to flare blitz on the next turn.
In addition to this, talonflame can run roost, so it can switch in REPEATEDLY.
>>17060652It counters if you're not a shit player, though. The only way it's going to be able to set up is if you're stupid enough to let it get a turn under your belt. This is where I find flaw in your 'not a counter argument', since a good talonflame player will be able to stop any set of lucario's as long as the person piloting it isn't an idiot, or their t-flame isn't stuck with something like sleep or para (and the opposing lucario makes use of that). Heck, special lucario can't even kill with aura sphere at +2, and that's not even with any HP investment.
There's a difference between not being a counter because your opponent could outpredict you and not being a counter because the user is a fucking idiot.
