Fortunately I found a shiny Sandslash later in Pearl. I caught her and used her as a spinner.

In Y I found a shiny Chingling and a shiny Geodude. I used Chimecho for a while, but Geodude was modest so I just put it away.

Back when I had no idea what shinies were (I had no idea why the red Gyarados was red and didn't question it) I found a shiny Machop when going through Rock Tunnel in Fire Red.

I had one Pokeball and luckily caught it on the first try. Became my bro all throughout the game. It never got to be a Machamp though cause I didn't have anyone to trade with.

He's now long gong though. Pic related.

My first shiny sighting had to be an Abra, but this was before I had a masterball and my Mudkip could have killed it with one hit.

I tried my luck at throwing a pokeball hoping that she would get caught, but to my dismay, she did not. She then teleported.
