Their excuse for not releasing it yet is "muh servers". If NOT releasing it leads to an even heavier server load, that might just be the incentive they need to release it.
Then again, "muh servers" might just be a way of hiding their true reason, "muh nippon". In that case, a DDoS attack could anger them enough to cancel the international release.
