And then if you get a Field egg group male in like 31/31/31/xx/31/31 (everything but Sp.Atk) and 31/xx/31/31/31/31 (everything but Atk) you can use them as breeding studs to pass on the two most useful IV spreads to most pokemon in one or two males.

The guy in Kiloude's pokemon center tells you their best IVs. You can also give it some rare candies and input the stats into a calculator or go to the Battle Institute in northern Lumiose to automatically set them to 50.
