Natures boost or lower a stat by 10%, barring neutral ones.

IV's add up to 31 stat points in any given area, or are the equivalent of 128 extra EV's at their maximum.

Natures only apply for a selected movepool? Say like I have a Gardevoir that majors light screen and shadow ball, I'd need a nature that boosts them respectively?

It depends on what you're using it for. If for example, the role of your Gardevoir is to set up Dual Screens, you want a +defensive nature or +speed, either to tank hits better or get the screens up faster.

Natures only boost one stat and lower one stat.

If you look at your Pokemon's status screen, say they have an Adamant nature. Their attack stat will be in red, and their SpA stat will be blue. This means the red stat is boosted and the blue stat is lowered.

Can someone explain to me how hidden power gets it type and why my Rotom has dragon type instead of ice?

Someone tried to explain it was the IV's using 31/even/31/31/x or something, but the "even" part confuses me

IVs are just the inherent numbers that can give a boost to a poke's respective stats. Natures either are neutral (useless as far as I know) or take 10% from one stat and put them in another.

Honestly I only know that 31/x/x/31/31/31 is usually HP Ice. lol

If your Pokemon has perfect or close to perfect IVs the HP is usually Dragon or Dark

the even means it should be an even number.

If you have 31/30/31/31/31/x then you get HP ice. If you get say, 27 in attack instead it will be dragon.
