CN cut the first 15 minutes of the Zoroark movie in order to shorten the movie's run time so they could stick an episode of Adventure Time at the end.

This was done without TPCi's permission, so they got REALLY fucking pissed and threatened to pull Pokemon off of CN altogether if they did that shit again.

It was re-aired later intact.

They mean business.

Not really, unless you ask Dogasu who seems to hate the dub with a passion. The First Movie had a lot of lines changed and jokes added (Vikings live in Minnesota dohohoho) but that's about it.

Yeah. In the original, it was more about whether or not clones had the right to exist. Mewtwo was for them, but Mew wasn't. That's where the whole "the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant" line came from. The dub was about how fighting was wrong. At least I think it was like that. Since this is a movie discussion now anyways, I'd like to ask : Is the blue tint that's in [portions?] of the Pokemon Heroes DVD in the bluray and vhs as well? I'd think so for the VHS, but possibly not the bluray.
Of course, it's not in the Japanese releases at all, but sadly I can't find a picture comparison I made a while ago of it. I have the dvd of it though and it's not really that bothersome however.

I got the first 3 Movies package at Walmart a few years ago for probably 10 dollars just for shits and giggles, and I got Mewtwo Returns at a video store for like 5 dollars I think. that blue tint was because 4kids decided to be retarded and put a weird blue filter in the movie. So its present in all the North American releases of Heroes

I do not think it was for the better, nothing personal against Dan Green, but it was nearly impossible to live up to Phillip Bartlett's performance.

Give me a break. The Pokemon DVDs are as basic as a DVD release is. The Mewtwo Returns snapcase has a nice presentation because it's a snapcase, but come on now. I'd understand if these were special collectors editions, but they're not. Did something happen as well? Because I remember looking at the entire series to buy since I kinda wanted it for whatever reason, and it I remember it being under 120 dollars at the time for every movie until then, and that was 11 movies I think. I even got the added the first 3 in separate cases and they were still 10$ a piece. Did some kind of shortage or mass destruction of these disks happen? This was only maybe 2 or 3 years ago.
