Because some pokémon have to have weaknesses. Do you really want magnemite to have full immunity to ground? Are you really that retarded? It's not getting it because it's supposed to be like that.

I would love mismagius to have any other useful ability, but it's ok anyway.

that's true. I'm thankful they put magnet rise in the game. But I still wish gamefreak would have given the other levitate mons secondary or hidden abilities. Carnivine might as well not even have an ability.

That essentially makes it a Normal physical attacker with no item or ability, no way to boost that average speed, and really low special defense along with a fighting type weakness.
We already have a bunch of huge BST Pokemon with no item or actually useful ability, they're called Megas.

That would give them an actual reason to actually change his ability rather than the "just because" reasons people never give in these threads.

magnet rise is OKAY at best, it's a complete waste of a turn from a pokemon that doesn't have the defenses to pass it off that way. Even if its ability was like:
first turn on ground. spends next 4 turns floating. Comes back down after the 4th turn

then its ability would be great and magneton could be great to put into teams, but why do that ever when rotom wash is available?
