I'd suggest 252HP/252SpD/4 Def, and Calm. Smeargle is frail as shit but you're gonna have to bulk at least a bit to trap anything.
The only thing you might be able to trap is a Chansey or other support Pokémon without a reasonable offensive presence.

Yeah I was thinking maybe I could use a disable to the opposing pokemon then throw down the traps.
