>>17105765The problem is that the standard Mega-Garchomp set is
Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spd / 226 Atk / 32 SAtk
Naughty Nature
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
If Physically Defensive Gliscor or Bold 252 hp/252 def Rotom-W switch into Draco Meteor, then they are now in trouble.
For Gliscor Draco Meteor + 2nd Draco Meteor with the SPA drop does minimum 90.6%, with Stone Edge doing slightly less than the followup Draco Meteor.
Against 252hp/252 def Bold Rotom-W Draco Meteor on the switch followed by Stone Edge does minimum 85%.
So with Entry Hazards and any prior damage they are both threatened to be killed without really accomplishing anything.
M-Garchomp's standard set kills HIppowdown with the Draco Meteor on the Switch and followup Sand Force Earthquake.
Gardevoir threatens to be OHKO'd switching into an EQ, and un-mega evolved Garchomp with this speed spread outspeeds un-mega evolved timid Gardevoir and has a 50% to OHKO with EQ that is guaranteed after Stealth Rock.
Azumarill is guaranteed 2 hit KO'd by Stone Edge into EQ or double EQ so unless he comes in on Draco Meteor or Fire blast he will be unable to get a play rough off and get killed only getting off an Aqua Jet.
Garchomp is counterable, and easy to revenge it's just hard to bring in something safely on him once he has gotten comfortable like Kyurem-B.
It's all about prediction.
