>>17115768Right, it has a number of uses thanks to usable ability and support options. I still believe that its low stats overall and vulnerability to phasing and status should keep it from being used as much as it is, and that, in the end, there are other believably UU Pokemon (see: Slowbro) who, while not identical in their functions, are still much more deserving of use.
>>17115789I don't expect the tiers below OU to be playable until April at the earliest, honestly. And by then we'll probably be awaiting the next Pokemon games.
>>17115974>no movepoolTry again. Fusion Bolt, Ice Beam, and Earth Power with Substitute is Kyurem-B's best set, and it leaves out options like Outrage/Dragon Claw, Focus Blast, Iron Head, Shadow Ball/Claw. Stone Edge, Draco Meteor, and Roost. The reason it got dropped was that no one had bothered to try anything beyond slapping a Choice Band on it and spamming Outrage when the Suspect Test was performed. The Smogon Elite didn't realize how powerful Black Kyurem could be until later, and likely would've Suspected it again had the 5th Generation not ended when it did.
>>17116208There are many things wrong with that statement, at least in spirit. While the second sentence is actually very true, there's more to the story. As far as types go, Dragon has never really been that great. The only reason why Dragons are such a big deal is that they tend to have insane BSTs and Olympic-sized movepools. Take that away, and they're actually pretty shitty. Fairy is easily a better type than Dragon, yes, but both have always been worse than Steel. Water trumped Dragon last generation, too, and will probably do so again this time around.
Oh, and Ghost is the best type this generation, bar none, and anyone who disputes that is asking to be tentacle raped by Giratina-O.
None of this changes the fact that there is nothing about Clefable that justifies it seeing SIGNIFICANTLY more use than KyuB.
