>>17119804Run Mega-Kanga. Run things that counter its counters (Ghosts for opposing Fight, faster mons for pesky speedy mons, etc; Gengar does both).
For Milotic, the best maison set will be its two regular sets depending on which recovery method you choose:
>Recover setScald/Ice Beam/Toxic/Recover
I'd run Modest with 252 SpA, and 252 HP
>loses to:-opposing Toxic/status, bulky setup mons (esp. special), mons that outspeed and 2HKO, Water/Steel, Water/Poison, Toxicroak
>Rest setRest/Sleep Talk/Scald/(Ice Beam/Dragon Tail)
I'd go Calm with 252 Def, and 252 HP.
>loses to-Whirlwind/Roar mons mess up the tempo and effectiveness of this set (but don't otherwise pose a threat), bulky Taunters, faster mons that can 2HKO (much harder with full investment + Marvel Scale boost), and setup mons depending on whether you run Dragon Tail and which mons you face (some mons too heavy for DTail, Fairy setup immune, etc)
The Recover set is likely easier to use in Maison, but requires more switching since it has a much higher list of things that it struggles with.
Resttalk gets dat bulk and best recovery, making it easy to switch in and setup your heal machine setup (and also serves as sleep bait), but does attract crits and 'hax' due to the sheer number of hits it takes and the random nature of Sleep Talk.
The best partners for Milotic are mons that can take the fast/strong Electric/Grass moves aimed at it, such as Garchomp, which is both fast, strong, and loves free switch ins on most every Electric type Milotic will face due to the absence of HP Ice in Maison.
The AI doesn't 'learn' anything. It does however, try to match up teams that do well against your team, esp. your lead (run Shell Smash Cloyster, every other lead is a bulky water or fast electric, etc).
It does mean that due to the semi-advantage it has, it's only a matter of time and luck before it comes up with a combination that'll be able to handle your team.
