I usually sleep with my arms crossed over my chest with fists like a mummy. I also cover everything but my face with blankets tightly wrapped around me. Started in my childhood as a preventative against ghosts and monsters, but now it blocks out distractions and sunlight. I-I'm strange.

Either Gold or PMD blue rescue team. Fantastic game that hit me right in the feels. Parting is still one of the best pieces of music in the franchise.

Also I'm pretty sure you can get a contrary Snivy since the pokebank checks are terrible, but since the ability has not been released you won't be allowed to use it in online battles.

Thank you. I had hatched boxes and boxes of Feebas for a shiny these last few days, but I realized I really wanted something other than a pokeball for Milotic, so I told myself I would put that on hold until pokebank and I switched to Petlil.

Now I have to either find a Feebas in a luxury ball or find a new poke to chain. Though the list is long, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I have 31 boxes unlocked (not sure if that's the max number or not), and I use about 25 of them for stocking up on eggs before I start hatching them.

Because there's 30 eggs in each box, 25x30 = 750

MM shiny rate is supposedly somewhere around 683 or something. I feel I have a greater chance if I prep the eggs first. Easier to keep track of how many you've hatched, aswell

and though most people don't for me one of the best things is using and abusing the hatching power. If you take 4000 steps with your 3ds while street pass is enabled, you can recharge o powers 4X as fast, 3000 is 2 and 2000 is 1. I already hatched one shiny by Masuda method but it was something completely random...a mon i don't like (i was hatching babies for dex and one appeared).
The statistics says i hatched 600-700 eggs (i mean randomly from the beginning of the game).

I keep a constant fill-empty-repeat on three of my boxes for MM'ing. Release the non-shiny children or send them over wondertrade if they're something half decent (egg moves, ok IVs), then just release all the common trash.

The hardest part for me is waiting to get the eggs from Day Care. If he could just deposit them in my box for me it would be fine but going back and forth waiting for him to turn around God damn..

It's most likely the method you're using. In all honesty, I've only MM'd three pokemon, and two of them were the same exact pokemon. I find it more tolerable to just hatch what I get, deposit the failures, and repeat. If you're doing the fill up some boxes and hatch them all in one go method, you should really only do that with big game, like Beldum, or Aron. Anything else and you're wasting your time.

I prepare a set of 3-5 boxes the day before I start hatching them. Then I gather up half of this amount (1,5-2,5) every morning and half in the evening.

It's really gathering boxes that's the worst part. You just have to tough it out.

I usually collect five a day, one or two more if I'm feeling up for it, and then do something else while they hatch.

It's not fun, but finally getting your shiny is worth the hassle.

Like William and Matto said, it helps if you're using the same species of Pokémon from two different trainers, that gives you the highest chance for an egg. Getting the Oval Charm helps a lot as well.

I prefer to hatch and gather at the same time, that way your steps are doing double-duty. I also only go a box at a time, hatch a box, check IV's, WT rejects, then continue. It breaks the monotony of doing the same thing over and over again.
