This is exactly why I wish there was a 6v6 option for rated battles. It makes no sense why GF is forcing their 3v3 bullshit on everyone. It's bad enough they HAVE to implement that team preview shit, but now they're making us battle using 3v3. That makes no sense since it takes out all the strategy...

What kills me is when they dont decline the request as soon as it appears. most of the time i'm just sitting there for 3 minutes waiting to see if they'll accept the request.

That happens to me constantly. That's why I spend most of my free time breeding and hatching with a spare team in battle box. There's nothing to do post game. Battle spot fucking sucks with the 3v3 shit, and looking for battles from passerbys takes too long because most of them just ignore the requests even though they have the "Let's Battle" message.

Same shit happens to me, constantly....

That makes me wonder if people are "ignoring" my battle requests because they're already in battle. I just figured it would be impossible to challenge someone while they're battling, but apparently you can.

That fucking notification should be around for all screens. It just seems to pop up on the bottom screen while you're idling on the overworld or during a battle. Lots of times I only get the notification after using the PC or dealing with an NPC and by that time the other guy challenging me has disappeared.

I know that little battle icon appears over their head if they're an acquaintance or friend. But honestly, I've never seen that icon over anyone's head if they're a passer-by.

Well what does your message say? If it's like "Let's Battle!", then you really can't blame them. If I don't feel like battling, I change it to "BusyEV Trainin" or "Busy Breeding".

I'm probably just being retarded here, but I could never actually figure out how to use the battle box for anything besides battle spot or maison, it only lets me change the held items of whatever I have with me at the time when some random passerby challenges me, someone care to explain?

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but what I do is have a team of 6 Pokemon, complete with their appropriate items, in my battle box at all times. When you get challenged, you have the option to choose a team from your party or from the battle box. Just tap on "Battle Box" and, bam, there they are.

I completely agree. I also have a team of 6 Pokemon w/ items in my battle box. I change it every so often, but I figured the point of the battle box was so that you'd never be caught off guard while breeding or EV training.

You must be retarded, because after you accept the challenge you have the option of selecting Pokemon in your party or in the battle box. It's the same screen that lets you change the battle music.
