Hey, /vp/. I was wondering if you could help me out with a team that I'm trying to make. I'm currently trying to make a team based off of Ohio's wildlife and I'm confused as to what to put in the team. So far, I'm thinking sawsbuck and pachirisu should go in there.

It's a cool idea, but there's a lot of research needed for anyone not from Ohio to help you out. Come back when you have some options for what Pokémon you want to use, and we can help you build a team out of that, but we can't help you pick the actual Mons.

I can only think of deer, turkeys, other random birds, squirrels, trees, and snow. I used to live there for a while (a few years) and that's what I usually saw there (of course, I was living up in Kent for that time).

I'd add abomasnow in there if it fit. Unfortunately, it doesn't. I want to make the pokemon work well with each other at least a bit. Trevenant's a good idea though.

The most ordinary looking pokemon. We have deers, squirrels, birds, and other normal animals as another anon said. Sawbuck, Pidgey, Pachirisu, would work. Also maybe some city mascots like Tepig for Cincinnati, Gurdurr for Cleveland, and I can't think of a nut-based pokemon for Columbus (Buckeyes).

I guess that's true. But I remember hearing we had a particularly deadly spider native to the state.

Then again, I was small when I "learned" this, so it may not be factual at all and it could've been somewhere else. But that's why I brought it up.
