I am playing pokemon y and my pikachu is trying to learn slam. Should i replace one of this moves or not?

-quick attack
-thundershock
-electro ball
-nuzzle

It takes many ps but has only 75% accurate rate

I take it you speak español. I'll answer in english because 4chan. Also, the word is HP.

Consider the following:

Thundershock and Electro Ball are both redundant. Either have one or the other. I'd suggest you replace both by Thunderbolt asap. But for now, choose one of them and replace it with Slam.

but electro ball and thundershock are very different. Thundershock has 30PP and Electro ball only 10 but it is very effective because it depends on speed. So I cant replace them with thunderbolt right now but you think i should replace EB and TS with Slam and TB?

The lowest BP Electro Ball will ever have is 60, which is worlds better than Thunder Shock, plus you can paralyze with Nuzzle. And PP means jack shit, go to a Pokemon Center or grow some Leppa Berries if you're so concerned about them.

Leppa berries? They help to get more PP? awesome. Were i can get them? i am after the second gym.

Electro Ball. Thunderbolt is way more reliable (90 BP) and can paralyze the opponent.

At Route 15 there's a Leppa Berry tree. You will have to wait for a while. For now just use the Pokemon Center every now and then, and once you've got the berry, plant it at the place near the Pokemon Day Care, right at the exit of Camphrier Town at route 7.

What? Leppa Berry recovers PP, and you can plant it to have more and more. It's by far the cheapest method for PP recovery. I'd not suggest using PP Up (which adds 1 PP to the max per usage) unless you're going for competitive, plus it's expensive as fuck.

It's ultimately up to you. Raichu does both Attack and Special Attack decently. You could try a mixed set, a physical set, or a special set.

>Physical
Wild Charge, Return (max happiness), Dig, Quick Attack.

>Special
Thunderbolt or Thunder, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Thunder Wave

>Mixed
Pick whatever you like the best from both sets, but keep in mind to not use more than one of each type.

>Support
Raichu can also play a good supporting role: Light Screen, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Swagger.

For everyone else: this is made for an in-game run, not meant to be competitive.

I think i like mixed or special more, because i like electric attacks more. I also like having at least 1 attack that isnt of the same type. What attack is grass knot? is it normal? I would like 3 electric and 1 normal.

Wild Charge and Volt Switch are both Electric-type.

"Hierba Lazo", Grass-type, deals more damage the heavier the opponent is, similar to Low Kick.

You NEVER do this. Never. Ever. Have 1 electric move and the rest of different types (not counting those that don't deal damage, and the only exception is if any move has another effect that makes it worth enough).

The physical set has two Normal-type moves (Quick Attack and Return - the former has priority and the latter deals a lot of damage), one Ground-type and one Electric-type.

The special set has two Electric-type moves (one is non-offensive), one Fighting-type and one Grass-type.

The support one has one Psychic, one Normal, two Electric, and only one move is offensive.

Oh ok. So from now on i will make my pokemon have 1-2 attacks from the main type and the other 2 from 2 different types them. So my pikachu maybe should have 2 electric 1 grass and one figthing/normal. but i cant decide. I like quick attack but i dont know if i should keep it forever. Maybe i should do TB, Nizzle, Grass not and one figthing or normal attack.

The nature increases special attack, yet you have a higher overall attack, most likely because it has better attack IVs. Maybe having attacks from both special and physical ends of spectrum will do.

Wha- No, no. You're taking it wrong.

Moves have a type and a category. The type can be "electric", "fire", "ground", etc. The category can either be physical (uses user's attack and target's defense), special (uses user's special attack and target's special defense) or status (not an offensive move).

Thunderbolt: Electric-type, special.
Thunder Wave: Electric-type, status.
Karate Chop: Fighting-type, physical.

Just keep in mind to be varied and to capitalize on the Pokemon's strong points. And what move is it? Flash Cannon shouldn't be there, but if the move is something like Dragonbreath, then don't even bother.

Also remove Flash Cannon for something else, like maybe something to give it in-battle buffs, and give it Rock Slide or Stone Edge once you can teach it, replacing Smack Down.

Ok but whenyou mean inbattle buff, those are the attacks that increase your defense and so on? I mostly dont use those but maybe i should start using them then.
