Furthermore, if Nintendo and GF are going to remain being fuck wits about this whole ordeal, then why hasn't anyone proposed/started on a project to create a custom Pokebank for ourselves? Pokecheck and various other sites can already abuse the GTS and Wi-Fi to great effect, there was already a Battle Analyzer, and there was Instacheck. And there's groups of people actually hacking the game/reading the code and identifying such. Couldn't it be entirely possible to create our own Pokebank? Please keep in mind thought that I have no experience in programming whatsoever, so this is just mainly speculation.

Do you not understand PR at all

why would they say anything before they actually know how long it'll be?

If they said "It should be a few months to a half year" or something people would still be upset they missed the launch date, and also upset they were being vague.

Anything they do at this point that isn't releasing pokemon bank or an exact date is going to make it worse.

If its the same exact software that was released in Japan when the servers crashed, I would guess sometime in February at the earliest. They probably still haven't decided what to do exactly with the servers.

Since the whole 'fake mon checker lol' was a complete and total failure, they may try to re-write some of the code and come back next year with the Poke-bank, just in time for the next competitive VGC series to start.

If they chose the latter route, their bank won't be successful. People are not willing to wait that long, but I don't see Nintendo or GF being intelligent enough to see that people are angry with them right now for this.
