Dead jigglypuff of the opposite gender I want to catch in front of the party, trace gardevoir next. If it has the gender and ability I want then I send scyther with swords dance and false swipe, though a parasect with spore gets the job done much better.

Doesn't Syncronise give a good chance that the wild ones you encounter will have the name nature as your own in the lead? I.E. I leak with a modest Gardevoir and will probably run into a wild whatevermon with that nature?

usually you bring catchers out against legendaries or ridiculous stuff (metagross), and there's only one ghost type of the former to worry about

I've used Breloom in the past with great success, since it can learn both Spore and False Swipe. Should be easier to pull off now too now that you don't have to get False Swipe as an egg move.

Bred myself a perfect catcher Parasect. 6ivs just because and it has sweet scent for hoards, spore, false swipe and it doesn't really have a fourth move specifically for catching. It also has damp should i ever come across an exploding shiny

Also I'm pretty sure they don't have to be moves used on it. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure I use to rematch these double battle twins in Heart Gold to get my desired move sets.

>>17142007 It's jolly since the general idea was to level it to level 100 and just catch everything with it. At that level with jolly it should out speed most stuff that you would find ingame and then just ev train it in attack and hp or attack and speed or something.
