it's a good example of how a pokemon can be competitively viable without having ridiculous stats or an overly offensive stat layout. defensive pokemon are generally underwhelming but it's combination of type and moveset make it versatile and useful even in a metagame that is dominated by bulky hyper offense. it's a shame more pokemon aren't as successful in this niche. (florges, carbink, etc)
