M-Banette seems like a waste of mega
boobookeys are over exposed and stupid looking
sableye is pretty cool but i need to get a HA one. same with the other HA ones

M-banette's surprisingly useful, but you probably don't care since you're probably going to use m-kangaskhan or something. Sableye's probably your best bet if you don't want to use the best mega.

Thing is, there are simply better megas than it and wasting your mega slot on it isn't an intelligent thing to do.

GF should have just made it a normal evolution.
It would be a lot better that way.

granted he's a lot more useful in multi battles thank singles.
You listed probably the best users of it besides Thundurus and Tornadus.
All the other Pranksters tend to have a niche gimmick that can be useful, but require lots of team support or even specific team builds. Whimsicott, Klefki, and Sableye can serve a variety of roles like team support and ruining opponent's momentum, all in one set.

Nah, man. It does require non megas to take the sweeper roles, but it's definitely not a waste.

I dunno, it seems really underwhelming if you ask me. No prankster on the first turn, its 165 attack isn't as good when it doesn't have very many good physical attacks, it's not very bulky and suffers from not being able to use all its options. It seems fine in doubles, but lacking in singles.

Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Gunk Shot, Shadow Claw, Phantom Force. Pretty good when you have 165 attack. Yeah you don't have Prankster on turn one but you have two good priority moves or Protect for that.
It's true that it is not very bulky, but with 252 HP it's pretty hard to one shot and being sorta frail is good when you want to die at the right time to take down something with Destiny Bond.
I run Adamant 252 HP 252 Atk with Sucker Punch/Phantom Force/Destiny Bond/Taunt and I love it. Rarely it fails to take down at least two pokemon with it.

It's just very predictable. Once you see it you know what it's going to do. You can see that destiny bond from miles away.

I'm not saying it's the only mega being as obvious as that, but still. Actually, when I think about it, most of the overused megas are very predictable, but at least they can do more than m-banette.

I like Shadow Sneak, but Sucker is a bit unreliable, Phantom Force is predictable and Shadow Claw barely hits harder than Return. It just seems kinda easy to play around, but maybe I'm wrong.

Well to be honest, I faced a few m-banettes.

Obe battle I remember was with a m-banette using sucker punch. Got me by the first turn, so I made him waste all his PP by switching, using non attacking moves, and poisoning it. The only thing he had left to use against me was destiny bond, because he was low on either way. I just waited for it to slowly die. It was hilarious.

That being said, I plan to breed and raise m-banette for multi battles.

Phantom Force is used to create no win situations for the opponent, either they switch out to something faster than Banette to take the hit or they stay and take it. It also draws whatever normal type you want to Taunt (Blisseys are great to give you free switches because of that) or burn.
Sucker Punch is cool against weakened setup pokes and gets some nice one shots against choiced weak mons (which you have frisk to be sure of).

Badly used Mega Banettes suck hardcore, even well used ones sometimes face situations like that but from my experience they are very well worth it.
