To me, this was X and Y's biggest letdown, aside from the number of megas we got.

I know the third version of a generation is the one to get the really cool post game battle facilities, so I'm not too surprised. I was just hoping for something more.

The upside is that at least the Battle Maison is merciless once you get into Supers.
