So I haven't really played X after I beat the elit 4. I want to start competitively battling but have no idea what my team should be or what stats I should EV train them in. Any suggestions? Pic unrelated I have no interest in using a Haunter.

Doesn't even need to be OU shit either. Use your favorites, smart team building, and useful movesets to make a successful team. If something doesn't really work, cycle it out for a new poke.

If you want a Poke to start with, go with Gengar.
