With Megastoise around it's gonna be a mini-xerneas except it can set up any turn instead of just once. Top tier, but not banned.

Pupitar still sucks, would move at least to RU though. Megatar actually outpaces Cloyster so that would probably get banned due to the raw power; it wouldn't even have to invest in attack to ohko half the tier.

>Shelgon/Salamence
Same deal with Shelgon as Pupitar, though it has shit coverage so it won't make it out of NU before getting raped by fairies. Salamence finally would have an argument against Megazard X and would probably return it to its 3rd gen glory days.

and yeah, moxie is nice to have but it was't such a huge boost to usage like Multiscale Dragonite.

Salamence went from Uber to Mid Range OU from 4th to 5th while Dragonite went from Life support to top ten usage in one gen.

There are NU pokemon with shell smash. Cloyster's what it is because of it, but Cloyster is still the best user of it by far.

Not entirely horrible. Only 66 Pokemon resist both types. Psychic isn't terrible offensively it's just kind of pointless unless it's stab.

As much as I love cloyster, I had to give him up. I deny shell smashes with quag/malamar way too often to use it anymore.

Maybe UU, but UU isn't a synonym for bad lots of a competent Pokemon in OU are tiered as UU. That being said, this current UU is a shitfest because things like Keldeo, Kyurem-B, lots of less common Megas, Deoxys, Hydreigon, etc are currently UU.

Torkoal and Carracoasta's shells are made out of rock. So they would probably be very fragile.
Carracoasta's shell also looks more like a vest that wouldn't cause any self harm to break out of.

Blastoise looks like it would probably die without his shell, like a real turtle.

Still, if it can get a shell smash in it can outspeed pretty much anything, though I'd also throw in a priority move like ice shard to deal with things like Breloom before they mach punch you to oblivion

Big power, neat bulk, great defense, and with av, great special defense. Thanks to drain punch, he can recover hp as well.

You will have to predict/switch for smogon bird though, since no spiky shield means you're done against it.

You really haven't used a accupresure shuckle just for making the other guy suffer of agony?
It really is an awful strategy, but when shuckle gets to the +6 defenses, not counting the evasion, the only option the other guy has is forfeit or Destiny Bond
