I chose Fennekin because I figured it'd get some neat status effects and support moves, but it gets exactly nothing (except Will-o-Wisp). No Thunder Wave through TM (unlike every psychic type ever) and no Hypnosis through level up even though it suits it fairly well.
Really, Delphox got the boot. It has good enough stats, but is unable to use them, especially in-game (mine had three fire moves up until level forty or so).
