I didn't really feel a difference, but probably on the XL. That said, these guys are right. If you have the tools, I'd go with Horde training, only using the Super Training for items or cleanup.

Is horde training really faster? I havent done any ev training until i can transfer, but it seems like running into specific hordes is more trouble than its worth?

Horde training is so much faster.That being said, if you're doing any sort of weird EV spread, Super Training is definitely better for making sure you don't fuck it up.

Nope there are common, uncommon, and rare hordes. It makes it so much easier to train when you can even train 3 mons at one time and gain levels while doing it.

Isn't it just less hassle to hatch the pokemon, super-train him straight out of the egg?

That would be the case if you had to use the pokemon you hatched to beat the hordes. You just exp share the EVs.
