Disagree, dark is stronger than ever for several reasons:

>Knock Off buff, probably the biggest since they now have a hard hitting STAB move that also removes the foe's item
>Ghost buff means only two types resist/are immune to Ghost, Dark and Normal, and one of those is SE against Ghost
>Fighting nerf through fairy type and ghost buff
>Dark now hits through steel

All of these outweigh the fairy weakness, a type which is rarely used outside fairies themselves.

UU is a joke right now. There's a good 5-10 Pokemon from OU that need to drop three months ago, and as many as 15 UU 'mons that should be seeing OU usage, plus bans and such.

Knock Off's power has been changed from 20 to 65, and its PP is changed from 20 to 25. In addition, it will deal 50% more damage if used on a Pokémon holding an item other than a Mega Stone or a Giratina holding a Griseous Orb. Sticky Hold does not prevent this bonus.
Knock Off will not remove a held item if the user faints due to Rough Skin, Iron Barbs or Rocky Helmet.

I did run Agilicross in gen IV but I don't know if that's good in this generation with all that priority everywhere. That weakness policy sound pretty nice and I guess Assault Vest can be used too if you want to be tanky.

I think part of the issue is the number of Pokemon. This also means older UU mons are getting shafted and Pokemon that were already NU will go to PU (which isn't even a real tier). They really should add another tier or increase the cut off point a tiny bit with every generation.

Without Drain Punch he's not really the best Vest user.
Weakness Policy is brilliant on him. Just run Agility, Zen Headbutt (dat flinch chance), Bullet Punch, and Earthquake. He hardly needs any Speed investment too, so you don't lose out on much bulk. Really the only downside is barring yourself from using Hammer Arm.

Smogon are still using the same fucking cut off point since Gen 4 even though the number of Pokemon has almost doubled. The old argument was that if something is used a lot than chances are it's also extremely strong.

This no longer applies simply because it's more a case of there are too many strong options that there isn't room to use them if they don't suit your team. It doesn't make them any worse.

Mega's are a case in point, you're restricted to only one per team, so even if you wanted to use another you couldn't.

Except teams are still the same size.
So basically usage still means exactly the same thing. If 20% of teams run garchomp it's exactly the same as if 20% of teams ran garchomp in gen4.

Fairy hype shoved most usable fairies (Mawile, Klefki, Sylveon, Azumarill, Togekiss, Clefable) aside from Gardevoir and Florges to OU, and not many Pokemon in current UU can actually take Kyurem-B's attacks well, and if they somehow can, Kyurem-B has enough bulk to take a hit. It also has a nice special attack to get past physical walls and Iron Head to destroy fairies.

Manaphy and Keldeo are also OP in UU.

The games been out for a while already. I would say OU is mostly stabilized. What's likely to happen since UU is updating every month is that a lot of things will be kicked into BL for the time being.

1/5, if enough people complain that "UU is the new OU" or that "Power Creep, made 1/2 of Pokemon drop a tier and now popular NU and RU mons are screwed.", "Too much Pokemon" etc. they might take action. My guess is they probably won't and it might work out for the best but this is the last Gen they can keep it the way it is. By Gen 7 something needs to be altered.

In all seriousness, they might make PU an actual tier but that would just house last gens NU and those that were actually PU are shafted once more. Really they might need to raise the cut off point, especially with more megas and more Pokemon.
